About Us

St. Joseph Church sponsors Cub Scout Pack 33, which is open to all boys & girls in grades K thru 5. You do not need to attend St. Joseph's school to join our Pack. Cub Scout Pack 33 meets in the downstairs meeting room of the Religious Education Center at St. Joseph Church. The Cub Scout program is for boys & girls in grades K-5. Each grade meets in a Den of up to 10 boys: Kindergarten, Lion: Grade 1, Tiger; Grade 2, Wolf; Grade 3, Bear; Grade 4, Webelos 1; Grade 5, Arrow of Light. All of the Dens together form the Pack. Parent participation is essential for the success a Cub Scout program. All parents are welcome and encouraged  to attend and teach.  We ask that all parents participate at Den meetings and Pack meetings.

A Pack meeting is held monthly on the third Friday. At this group meeting the boys receive their advancement achievements along side family members to help celebrate the boys' success. The Pack also holds exciting activities throughout the year. These events include the Blue & Gold Dinner, Pinewood Derby,Holiday party and camping events. We also participate in community service projects, Parades and summertime family Pack activities that include picnics, museum sleep-overs, and duck pin bowling, to name a few. The environment is inclusive and non-competitive (except for the Pinewood Derby). We are always welcoming new members.
